Kristen Stewart Goes Goth Glam For On The Road, Parties With Robert Pattinson After

Kristen Stewart 2012 AFI Fest Premiere For 'On The Road'

Right, we do we make of this outfit? Of course it’s a Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière ensemble, with Christian Louboutin heels, natch, as that seem to be our main lady’s favorite combination, but it’s an unusual choice for a premiere. But we’ve come to accept the unexpected from Kristen Stewart and knew she would wear something out of the ordinary for the On The Road AFI Fest premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in L.A. on Saturday evening. We also understand that she wanted to go for something architectural and minimal but couldn’t those pants have fitted better? And let’s take a look at what’s happening with her face.

Kristen Stewart At The On The Road Premiere

She’s gorgeous, as usual, but hello, goth girl! Check out the smoky eyes and the deep berry lips. Is too much? Maybe? Can she pull it off? Totally. And that’s all about the stuff you can see with the pictures. Here’s some interesting news that happened on the down-low at the after party. E! has reported that Kristen’s boyfriend Robert Pattinson joined her at the Roosevelt Hotel where they spent the evening together at the Garden Terrace. He didn’t walk the red carpet, and slipped in and slipped out in stealth mode. And apparently they were quite affectionate with each other as the site says that, “The two seemed in great spirits the whole night… Finally, a bit after midnight, Kristen was dancing and Rob made his way back to her. They spoke energetically and were playful, with Rob jokingly showing some dance moves of his own. As for PDA, she patted his chest a few times as they talked and rubbed his head at one point. He whispered in her ear and put his arm around her for a moment.” Swoon-worthy stuff, right? We’re just happy they’re getting back to normal again!

Is The Campaign To Blame For Uggie’s Retirement?

[ video unavailable on this device ]

There are a lot of reasons to laugh at Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis‘ movie The Campaign, but only one real reason to jump up and down in your seat: Uggie the dog makes a cameo! For real, we were sure that we’d seen the last of The Artist’s scene-stealer during awards season, when his trainers announced the 10-year-old canine was retiring from showbiz. But it turns out, Campaign director Jay Roach booked him just under the wire.

“Uggie retired the day after we shot,” Roach told VH1. “I don’t know what that says about our set. Maybe it’s a source of so much stress that Uggie couldn’t take … or maybe it was what had to happen to Uggie [in the movie].”

We won’t spoil what happens to the beloved terrier in the movie, but once you see it, you’ll know why Roach told us, apologetically, “Neither Uggie nor any infants were harmed on our set. It was all visual effects.” Maybe it’s just that Uggie didn’t quite get Ferrell and Galifianakis’ particular brand of teasing comedy.

Have you forgotten why we are so excited about seeing this star, who also made a memorable appearance in last year’s Water for Elephants? Just look at this face, as he places his paw in the cement at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. And then review Best Week Ever’s 20 hottest photos of Uggie.
