Playing legendary porn actress Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic about the adult film actress’s troubled life may be the Amanda Seyfried’s most challenging role yet.
And not to mention playing one of the lead roles in the film version of Les Miserables.
But the Mean Girls star still found time to do this arty, romantic photo shoot and interview for Vanity Fair.

The magazine went all old school in black and white and the 26-year-old actress looks vulnerable yet insolent in this amazing shot.
Only a glimpse of her dark underwear is on display and as she turns to the camera she clutches an embroidered and bejewelled mountain of fabric to her chest – possibly a discarded dress.
The shoot took place in what looks like an old-worlde European country house and the pretty actress’s hair tumbles down her back in a Rapunzel-like fashion.

Speaking to Vanity Fair Seyfried discussed shooting the all-star cast Les Miserables as well as the tricky sex scenes of Lovelace.

In Les Mis she plays Cosette, the main female protagonist – and Anne Hathaway’s character’s daughter.
When asked what it was like to work with co-star Hugh Jackman, the Mamma Mia! star replied: ‘There is nothing bad to say about Hugh.
‘He isn’t human. I bet you anything he’s got some kind of superhuman capabilities, beyond just being just the kindest, gentlest soul I’ve come across.’
Plus, she says, he has a wildly inappropriate sense of humour, which she shares.
Together they apparently invented alternative story lines that transformed their characters’ innocent relationship into something more racy.
Seyfriend added: ‘We sexualized everything as much as we could.
‘It was really funny, the moments we could find…it’s like every movie has another version, another satirical version of itself.’
She then went on to discuss the hilarious technicalities involved in mastering certain sex scenes with her Lovelace co-star Alexander Sarsgaard, who plays her on-screen husband and manager.
Seyfried said: ‘We were doing a scene where I was supposed to be going down on Peter Sarsgaard,
‘We used a popsicle, and I had my arms covering the popsicle.
‘It was footage that he was going to show the Deep Throat guy, to get her into the movie, to get her cast.’
She added: ‘I was laughing hysterically throughout. I couldn’t stop laughing.’
The Couture issue of Vanity Fair is on newsstands now.
From innocent ingenue to porn star: Seyfried is also set to play the part of Cosette in the all-star cast movie adaptation of Les Miserables.
