Claire Danes, January Jones And More Of Our Fave TV Actresses Class Up The Hollywood Reporter

Hollywood Reporter Cover, TV actresses

This is quite a cover. We have Claire Danes, Mireille Enos, January Jones, Julianna Margulies, Emmy Rossum and Kyra Sedgwick looking so incredibly elegant on next month’s The Hollywood Reporter. That’s Homeland, The Killing, Mad Men, The Good Wife, Shameless and The Closer repped respectively. Talk about your power television sextet. We know these lovely ladies all do films as well, but the TV angle is the one that smacks you in the face. The interview — or round table discussion — has everything from Jones discussing “Fat Betty” to Rossum talking nude scenes to Enos talking about kissing Brad Pitt. That last bit especially caught our attention, with the actress admitting, “Is it wrong to admit that having to kiss Brad Pitt was very, very terrifying? It was on World War Z, which I shot last summer and it was the second day of shooting.” We’d take her place anytime.

We actually laughed out loud at January’s description of the moment she first saw the heavier version of her Mad Men character onscreen. “I saw it on the air, paused it and went screaming into the other room,” she jokes. And where else are you going to get Emmy saying, with regard to her nude scenes, “But originally, when they made the contract it was like, “You will show partial side boob, you will show two cheeks …” Julianna chimed in with, “Those contracts are always so funny.” Read the full interview here to get your fix, because it gets much funnier.

Snow White And The Huntsman‘s Got A Prince Too! Prepare To Fall In Love With Sam Claflin

[ video unavailable on this device ]

Even if you’ve been watching all the nonstop coverage of Snow White and the Huntsman, you’d be forgiven for still wondering about that handsome Brit who keeps appearing alongside Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth. Your new fairytale prince is Sam Claflin, a 25-year-old U.K. native who’s fairly new to the big screen, but will definitely be making a reappearance. Prior to his role as William in Snow White, Sam’s first big movie break came when he was cast as Phillip Swift in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Across the pond, Sam has already made quite a name for himself after appearing on two award-winning British TV series, The Pillars of the Earth and Any Human Heart in 2010.

Sam’s now the new boy on the Hollywood block and definitely catching everyone’s eye. We can’t help but fall in love with him. Sam is a gentleman, charming, sweet, a terrific actor, and well … pretty darn beautiful. We’ll have to keep our admiration from a distance, though, as Sammy’s taken. He’s engaged to English actress Laura Haddock whom he brought to the London premiere of Snow White. Check out the video above, in which Sam so eloquently describes to our own Kate Spencer what beauty is to him, working in a loving reference to Laura.

If you’re not convinced just how charming he is, browse through this painstakingly created Sam Claflin gallery (it was a tough job, but someone had to do it!).

Adam Levine Loves The Ladies!

Posted by Adam

ADAM Levine is unashamed of his reputation as a ladies’ man.

The Maroon 5 rocker and The Voice coach told Details magazine that he’s sick and tired of being criticized for liking women.

“I’ve always felt a little misrepresented in the world,” he said.

“I felt like people only knew me as a singer who dated pretty girls; a little bit of a bimbo. Maybe I was kind of a bimbo.

“I was the music dude that was naked all the time with the girls, and that’s fine, no problem with that.

“But I wanted to create a little balance.

“Then [The Voice] came around, I thought, ‘People now know that I have a brain.

“There’s two kinds of men. There are men who are f**king misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they’re the most amazing people in the world. And that’s me. Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much.

“One of my theories on why I’m so capable of understanding women is that after my parents split, my mom moved in with her brother’s ex-wife — my aunt — who was also newly single.

“So I was living in a house with two jilted women, plus my cousin, who’s more like my sister, and my brother, Michael, who we eventually find out is gay. Just the estrogen alone… you know when you’re 14 and terrified to talk to a girl? I didn’t suffer much from that. It seemed very natural to me to talk to girls.

“I love attention. I can’t stand not having it. It just has to be the right kind. To do what you love, to be with the people you love? That’s all I want. That’s the ‘kwan.’”
